The Voice Solutions Scholarship Fund for People
with Disabilities Qualifications:
To qualify for "The
Voice Solutions Scholarship Fund
for People with Disabilities", the student
must meet the following requirements:
- The student must be a recipient of
services from the Disabled Student
Programs and Services office.
- The
student must either be of low vision/blind
or a physical disability and provide
a letter of verified disability
from a professional.
- A letter must
be provided that they are enrolled
in the Disabled Student Programs
and Services office, and have a letter
on file with the Disabled
Student Programs and Services office.
- The student must have a high school or
college GPA of 3.0 or better.
- The
student must be enrolled for at least
8 units or better per semester
or quarter.
- The student must type or write an essay with a minimum
of 250 words explaining their educational goals.
In order for your application to be review by the scholarship
committee, a submission of all 6 requirements
must be sent to Voice Solutions 8 Snapdragon,
Irvine, CA 92604. Once
your application has been accepted, the
scholarship committee will then review
the essays and choose the winner. You
will be notified by mail if you have
been awarded the scholarship.
The scholarship
money will be paid in the amount of $750.00 to the California community college. Student
accepts that Voice Solutions may use
the student's name for promotional
information and website content. Voice
Solutions reserves the right to change
any and all requirements and/or procedures
in regards to the Voice Solutions Scholarship
Fund for People with Disabilities.
Application deadline for 2005 school
year is July 15, 2005 and the scholarship
will be awarded annually on August
1st.
